Immersive design & development
At Studio Vrij, we design and produce immersive experiences that leave a lasting impression. Our strength lies in developing VR and AR experiences that are visually strong, playful, and intuitive. For each collaboration, we explore the story you want to tell and choose the best medium to bring it to life.
Since Studio Vrij’s founding 6 years ago we specialise in multiplayer Virtual Reality: a shared experience where multiple participants interact in real-time within the same immersive space. This way people can connect with each other inside VR, which makes the experience more engaging and memorable for the whole group.
Multi user VR is perfect for museums, festivals, and public events where community plays an active role and where a high visitor throughput is essential.

We love working on AI-driven software that drives positive change. Think tools that free up healthcare professionals from administrative tasks so they can focus on their clients, or conversational AI assistants for cultural institutions.
We are creatively involved, think out of the box, technically strong, and move fast from idea to working product, with fair pricing that reflects the speed of modern development
One of our core specialisms is Conversational AI: the most accessible way to interact with technology. No buttons, no screens, just a simple conversation. We apply this in all kinds of forms: from an artwork that speaks back to a talking library cat for children to look up books easily. As AI develops rapidly, conversations are becoming smarter, and we are always at the forefront of what's possible.

Workshops & Keynotes
We not only create immersive experiences; we also love sharing what we’ve learned. We regularly give interactive workshops and inspiring keynotes on VR, AI, and immersive storytelling, always tailored to your audience.
Whether you're new to immersive tech or more advanced, we adjust the content to your wishes. We believe the best way to understand immersive technology is to experience it. That’s why prefer to include live demos and interactive VR experiences wherever possible.
Over the past years, we have spoken at IFFR, ADE, Ahold, the Netherlands Film Academy and many more.

Events & Showcases
The VR work we make is of course meant to be experienced, and the best way to make that happen is in public spaces, surrounded by other people. That's why we love bringing our work to film and music festivals, museums, cultural events, company outings, team building days and corporate parties.
Seeing how people respond in Virtual Reality is honestly one of our favourite parts of the job. Some experiences are custom-made for a specific occasion, while other works are ready to tour, like our multiplayer VR Silent Disco. If you are interested in one of our works, it's good to know that we handle everything production-wise.
We bring the gear, friendly people to run it and of course the experience. All you need is a space and an audience.
