In Chaos in the Lab, young researchers step into a safe virtual environment where they must find clever ways to extinguish a fire. Inspired by the popular BNNVARA series Proefkonijnen, this XR experience encourages children to experiment with different materials, discover what happens when they interact with fire, and figure out the smartest solutions. Blending learning with excitement, the experience shows that science is not only educational but also fun — full of curiosity, experimentation, and collaboration. The installation was created for and presented in the Medialab at Cinekid Festival.
